My name is Dechasa Birhanu Hatau, and I am a gap year student driven by an insatiable curiosity for the cosmos. My passion for Astronomy, Astrophysics, and quantum mechanics was ignited in the 7th grade and has since shaped my academic journey. I am deeply committed to sharing this passion, dedicating my time as a volunteer with the Ethiopian Space Science Society, the Ethiopian Youth Physics Network, and the Nova Navigators' community outreach program, where I mentor elementary school students. These experiences have been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to inspire the next generation of scientists. My dedication to the field has been recognized through my achievement as a semifinalist in the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition and advancing to the next stage of the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics. As an ambassador, I am eager to connect with fellow enthusiasts, foster a vibrant learning community, and encourage others to look up at the stars and dive deep into the microscopic particle world with wonder.
