Eski de Sousa-Azevedo is an international IB student at Aiglon College in Switzerland, studying Higher Level Mathematics AA, Physics and Chemistry. Eski reached the Final Round of GQMC 2026 and won 1st National Award for Switzerland — an experience that turned an initially intimidating subject into one of his biggest academic interests. In the past, Eski led a student team in designing and building a working Tesla coil and competed as a finalist in the Championnat International des Jeux Mathématiques et Logiques. Eski currently serves as a Student Ambassador and Academic Peer Mentor at Aiglon College as well as NextGen Ambassador for Make-A-Wish Switzerland. As GQMC Ambassador, he is introducing the competition to students across Switzerland's international school network, as well as the Middle East and Singapore where he has lived in the past. Outside the classroom, Eski loves climbing, ski touring and parasailing.
