Hey, I’m Lal Dev Kumar Sah, a recent high school graduate from Urbana School of Science in Kathmandu, Nepal, with a deep passion for the intersection of Physics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, and Bioengineering. My commitment to scientific learning and problem-solving has led me to several national and international achievements, including a Silver Medal at the Nepal National Biology Olympiad, a Silver Medal and National Award at the Global Quantum Mechanics Challenge (Top 1% globally), and a Silver Medal and National Award at the International Computer Science Competition (Top 1% globally). Beyond academic competitions, I am a NASA Galactic Problem Solver Awardee and have gained research experience through programs involving UC Berkeley and Stanford Medicine. Through the UC Berkeley REYES program, I explored Python and Python4Physics while working on data analysis under a faculty mentor. I also explored the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, healthcare, and bioethics through Stanford Medicine’s RAISE Health Symposium. Believing that science grows through collaboration and shared learning, I founded and led Mathematics, Physics, and Biology clubs at my school, where I mentored fellow students interested in STEM and academic competitions. Through the Global Quantum Mechanics Challenge Ambassador program, my mission is to bridge theoretical physics with applied computational tools, cultivate quantum literacy across student communities in Nepal, and actively contribute to this vibrant global network of young researchers. I hope to inspire more students to explore quantum science, engage in academic opportunities, and contribute to a global community of young learners interested in research."
