Md. Seratul Mustakin is an M.S. student in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Dhaka with research experience in photocatalytic dye degradation and a growing interest in the electrochemical CO₂ reduction reaction (CO₂RR). He is a recipient of the Mercantile Bank Scholarship, awarded for his outstanding performance in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination, and has actively participated in several scientific conferences and academic activities. During his school years, he served as the Leader of the School Scout team and was a co-founder of the School Scout group. He has also received awards in information technology, website development, and quiz competitions. In addition, he volunteered at the 15th Bangladesh Chemistry Olympiad, worked as an invigilator, and served in a part-time role at the Dhaka University Environmental Society for six months. Outside his academic pursuits, he enjoys hiking and exploring nature, which inspire his passion for science and environmental sustainability.
