Mercy S. Nimusiima is an architecture student from Uganda with a strong interest in space science, quantum mechanics, and sustainable design. Her work sits at the intersection of science, technology, and human-centered innovation, with a focus on how complex ideas can be translated into practical and accessible solutions. She has participated in global STEM initiatives, space-focused programs, and research collaborations, where she has explored topics such as planetary habitats, in-situ resource utilization, and emerging technologies. As a GQMC Ambassador, Mercy is passionate about promoting quantum mechanics within her local community by creating opportunities for learning, discussion, and collaboration. She aims to make quantum concepts more approachable for students while encouraging greater participation in science and research across Africa.
