Coordinators of GQMC 2026

Subject Coordinator
Hamidur Rahman

Mr Rahman is a PhD student in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (USA). His research focuses on theoretical chemistry and computational modelling. He holds an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling from the University of Valencia (Spain) and partner institutions. Mr Rahman is a member of the American Physical Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), including IEEE Young Professionals.

Fabian Schneider

Mr Schneider has studied physics at Heidelberg University (Germany), including an academic term at Harvard University (USA), with a particular interest in astrophysics. He has research experience from various institutes including the CERN (Geneva, Switzerland), NASA (Huntsville, USA), and the Max Planck Institute for Radioastronomy (Bonn, Germany). Mr Schneider has received various honours for his continued commitment as an education advocate and his expertise in creating learning opportunities for students and youths. Besides GQMC, he is involved in several other education projects.

Dr. Rami Aly

Mr Aly has studied computer science at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom with a research focus on computational linguistics and machine learning. He has profound experience in creating internationally recognized education platforms. His competencies in the areas of system development and state-of-the-art technologies make the Global Quantum Mechanics Challenge a globally accessible and innovative project.

Outreach Coordinator
Victor Prado Both

Mr Prado Both has studied physics at Heidelberg University in Germany and holds profound competencies in the areas of communication and program creation. He has various experiences in organizing education projects, workshops, and learning activities globally. His responsibilities include the international ambassador program, external GQMC programs, and other outreach activities.
